SAFEX eLearning Courseware

Supporting global explosives safety through shared incident learning.

Designed and delivered a comprehensive suite of online learning modules for SAFEX International, a global non-profit dedicated to improving explosives safety by sharing incident data, safety lessons, and industry best practices.

This project transformed SAFEX content from linear PowerPoint presentations into a structured, reusable digital format, enhancing usability, accessibility, and consistency for international audiences.

Using a custom rapid-authoring framework, I standardised interaction patterns, defined the visual language and interaction model, and produced visuals, interactive features, and media assets for the courses. I worked closely with subject specialists to ensure technical accuracy and a clear learning structure.

The modules feature detailed case studies, custom graphics, animated process diagrams, video-based lab simulations, and interactive activities. These courses have been widely adopted in the explosives safety sector, generated commercial value, and have been translated into multiple languages for global use.
