Icons and LMS Assets
Supporting course navigation and visual consistency through structured instructional icon design.
Developed a suite of visual assets for virtual learning environments and online courses, including course tiles, homepage headers, dashboard graphics, image assets, and spot illustrations for Moodle, Canvas, and custom e-learning modules.
The work prioritises clarity and orientation within complex learning dashboards. Course tiles and headers offer immediate visual identification, enabling learners to distinguish subjects, levels, and delivery modes at a glance. Spot illustrations reinforce key ideas and indicate activity types without distracting from core content.
All assets were developed within platform constraints, such as fixed tile ratios, responsive layouts, and accessibility requirements. A consistent visual system with controlled colour palettes, restrained iconography, and clear hierarchy ensures legibility at small sizes and coherence across courses and cohorts.
The result is a reusable visual layer that improves navigation, reduces cognitive load, and establishes a clear, recognisable course identity across platforms and learning contexts.
